Welcome to Infuse Dance Studio-- we exist to bring community and innovation to every dancer* in the world.
*if you have a body, you are a dancer.
What dancers are saying about the Infuse Family:
Whatever your level, whatever your goal, we value solid technique and expert teachers who know how to both challenge and invest in your growth.
There's nothing mundane about dance: so where can we reimagine it? Where can we go where no studio has gone before?
We celebrate every beautiful shade, culture, and background. Perspectives are only full in community.
Dance isn't a solo act. There's a story behind every body, and we work to create a space for them to call home.
Wondering where to start? Here's a little guidance.
The most important starting place is mindset: come in curious and ready to have fun with zero expectations of yourself outside of just enjoying the process.
We have several classes on the schedule that were specifically created for our dancers who are just starting out: Full Out, Jamaica Jam, Bellydance, Hip Hop/ Jazz/ Contemporary Level l, and Salsa Basics are all great places to begin. Our Saturday morning Ballet l class is also a great place to form a foundation.
Often, folks come in looking for a fun, dance-centered way to live a healthier and happier life. We've got some great classes for that as well: Zumba, Pound, Barre Blaze, Full Out, and Capoeira are all fantastic workout classes with a distinctive dance feel.
New experiences can make anyone nervous, and most people who walk through the door for the first time has some sort of worry, whether it's about being good enough, being in "shape", being the right age, etc. Everyone is pretty much in the same boat.
Are you nice? Coming in ready to give it your best? Then you'll do just great. Here to point at people and laugh? Then you may not be our type.
On a serious note, we have a solid community here, and with yearly events like our open houses and studio flash mobs, you'll undoubtedly find a few friends in the process growth.
Where's my technique?
One of the biggest challenges is not picking up right were you left off. The body and mind need time to find their rhythm again. It can be hard to not perform the way you'd like, but remember you didn't get it overnight last time, either. Come with patience, choose to just enjoy the victory of moving your body again...the rest will follow.
We have some great classes designed to get you moving along at the right pace: Check out Jamaica Jam, Jazz l, Contemporary l, Beginning Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop l and Contemporary Brazilian- all designed to challenge and invigorate dancers who've been on hiatus.
Will my body be the same?
Life happens: we start careers, we get married, we have kids, life events happen, bodies and brains start functioning differently, and all this can affect our mindset when we step back into the studio...but don't worry, we got you! We understand exactly what that feels like, and are here to tell you that you will not leave a class filled with regret.
You are a dancer, regardless of what has changed, and all those changes have happened because you've been busy handling life, so now step back in and handle the dance floor. Big, small, medium, 18 years old, 90 years old-- there is always joy in dance.
Can I commit?
It can be huge struggle to balance the needs of kids/ husbands/ friends/ parents/ work/ school and find time to dance. We get that it's not an easy choice.
But if we may give a moment of tough love...
It's not so much a lack of time as it is an arranging of priorities, and often times, caring for ourselves just doesn't make that list. However, you know that dance only makes you better, happier, fuller, and colors your world. If it's what you love, then it is also what makes you the best version of you, and that is worth a few hours every week, don't you think?
Sometimes dancers are concerned they will walk in and be the odd one out: struggling to find their place again. Here at Infuse, we think about that kind of stuff a lot, and we've create a culture and schedule to make sure all feel welcome. This isn't a place where only the most technical dancers are valued or seen. We just love when people dance; you show up, we're happy. It's pretty simple, and all it takes is that first step.
You need more than maintaining technique: you need to grow. This requires classes catered to challenging the more advanced dancers taught by teachers who know their craft. Check out check out Contemporary ll, Modern ll, Jazz ll, Contemporary Brazilian ll, Hip Hop ll, Capoeira, and Barre Blaze to challenge your technique and build strength and stamina.
Paying for dance classes can be a real challenge, especially when trying to handle a new world of bills. Our studio offers the absolute best value, that offers unlimited access to classes for $99. If you're looking for a little less, you can purchase an 8 class pass and pay just ten dollars per class. We invite you to comparison shop. We've worked hard to keep dancers where they belong: in the studio.
Transitioning into adulthood as a dancer has some frustrations. Some of us have a great support system, but still have to balance work schedules, school schedules, and various obligations that make it difficult to fit in anything extra.
Unfortunately, some of us also have to hear words of discouragement about where we should be spending our time and resources.
We understand the battle, and you'll find a whole tribe of dancers here who face the same issues. It can be hard to carve out time and energy for class, but the bottom line is: you're a dancer and a dancer NEEDS to dance. We have so many dancers that walk in after taking years off to "adult", and while we're so thrilled they're back in a studio, we also see the depression and frustration of starting over.
Opportunities to grow:
The Infuse Dance Talent Group is also home to several performance companies: Retrograde Dance, a Contemporary based company, Tropicaleiza, a Contemporary Brazilian Company, Muvuca, an all-female drum group, as well as Hip Hop and Salsa team.
Additionally, we have multiple performance opportunities as well as weekend intensives to help you consistently level up your skills.
