You may be thinking about:
You need to maintain the technique you have, and grow it further. This requires classes catered to challenging the more advanced dancers taught by teachers who know their craft. Check out check out Contemporary ll, Modern ll, Jazz ll, Contemporary Brazilian, Hip Hop ll, and Barre Blaze to challenge your technique and build strength and stamina.
Paying for dance classes can be a real challenge, especially when trying to handle life in the real world. Our studio offers the absolute best value, and we are the only studio that allows for weekly membership payments. For 25 dollars a week, you can take unlimited classes with us. If you're looking for a little less, you can purchase an 8 class pass and pay just ten dollars per class. We invite you to comparison shop-- we've worked hard to keep dancers where they belong-- in the studio.
Transitioning into adulthood as a dancer has some frustrations. Some of us have a great support system, but still have to balance work schedules, school schedules, and various obligations that make it difficult to fit in anything extra.
Unfortunately, some of us also have to hear words of discouragement about where we should be spending our time and resources.
We understand the battle, and you'll find a whole tribe of dancers here who face the same issues. It can be hard to carve out time and energy for class, but the bottom line is: you're a dancer and a dancer NEEDS to dance. We have so many dancers that walk in after taking years off to "adult", and while we're so thrilled they're back in a studio, we also see the depression and frustration of starting over.
Performance/ Career Opprtunities
Sometimes you're really looking to explore your options. We've got you covered here with a few options:
1. Infuse Dance Accelerator: We are home to the first 6-month accelerator program. This academy-style format takes a small group of dancers and provides exclusive technique classes, courses on choreography, teaching, business, injury prevention and more. It's a crash course in all things dance to prepare you to make sound decisions about your dance future. You can find more info here.
2. Studio performances: The studio provides several performances opportunities every year for those who just want to dance a little: we do flashmobs, locals shows and more, and our performances usually include the whole studio.
3. Company Auditions: The studio is also home to several performance companies: Retrograde Dance, a Contemporary based company, Tropicaleiza, a Contemporary Brazilian Company, and Muvuca, an all-female drum group. Company members have many more opportunities for performance. Auditions happen twice per year.
